Lisa is a seasoned wine, food and travel public relations professional who joined Folsom + Associates in 2008 from Foster’s Wine Estates in Napa Valley, where she worked for more than six years. She is a highly creative thinker and skilled writer, with extensive media contacts in the wine, food and lifestyle press. As public relations director for imports at Foster’s, Lisa headed up all U.S. PR for Foster’s extensive portfolio of imported wines, which covered a broad range of winery sizes, styles, prices and regions. She oversaw for some of Foster’s most prestigious brands, including Australia’s Penfolds, Wolf Blass, Greg Norman Estates, Rosemount, Lindemans, Coldstream Hills, the Little Penguin and Devil’s Lair brands, Italy’s Castello di Gabbiano, Travaglini and Campanile brands, and Matua in New Zealand. Prior to joining Foster’s, Lisa was an independent PR and marketing consultant in San Francisco, developing creative programs and media campaigns for such clients as Cathay Pacific Airways, San Francisco International Airport, Beringer Vineyards, Clover Stornetta Dairy, and KQED Television/NapaStyle. Earlier in her career she was a group manager with Ketchum Public Relations in San Francisco working on the Freixenet Sparkling Wine, Napa Naturals, California Milk Advisory Board, California Raisin Board and Walnut Marketing Board accounts. Before entering the public relations field, Lisa was a writer for Glamour Magazine in New York and an assistant editor for Harpers Bazaar and Town and Country magazines in New York. She has a bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College and Level 1 certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers. She is a native of Massachusetts.
